PRESS RELEASE: Partners West Africa – Nigeria Clarifies Non-Affiliation with PWAN MAX

The Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative, also known as Partners West Africa – Nigeria (PWAN), wishes to clarify that it has no affiliation whatsoever with PWAN MAX Property and Business Solutions Ltd, the real estate company referenced in recent media reports concerning actions by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).

Partners West Africa – Nigeria is an independent, non-profit organisation working to advance accountable governance, citizen security, access to justice, and strengthened protection systems in Nigeria and West Africa.

Given the similarity in acronyms, we recognise that members of the public may inadvertently associate our organisation with the company mentioned in these reports. We therefore state categorically that Partners West Africa – Nigeria has no relationship, ownership connection, business dealings, or operational affiliation with PWAN MAX or any of its subsidiaries.

We respectfully encourage media organisations and public institutions to exercise accuracy and clarity in their communications where similar names or acronyms exist, in order to avoid unintended reputational harm to unrelated entities.
