The Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, convened an emergency security meeting to address the situation and pledged to take decisive measures to prevent further attacks. President Bola Tinubu has also ordered a thorough investigation into the incident, promising severe consequences for those responsible. Two suspects were reportedly arrested on April 16, 2025, in connection with the killings. The government and security agencies are working to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice. The attack has left the community in shock and grief, with many families still trying to come to terms with the loss of their loved ones.
