PWAN’S ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2021
In 2021, PWAN demonstrated operational resilience after the downturn of 2020 and was faced with ongoing global and national impacts. PWAN was able to navigate the year with the help of a focused strategic plan, strong leadership model, and the professionalism and experience of its staff. We strengthened our work processes as an organization and showcased the promotion of more accountable and ‘safe workspaces’ internally and externally through the implementation of our projects/interventions.
PWAN is pleased to share its 2021 Annual Report, which provides insight into what we accomplished last year through our collaborative efforts.
The organisation is in its sixth year of operating successfully within the Nigerian and West African civil society and NGO space. Taking into account its considerable progress, this report has an underlying theme of reflection to capture key experiences from inception to being recognised as an organisation that has worked over the years to ensure the increased participation of women, young persons, and the vulnerable groups in security and governance dialogues.
PWAN will continue to look for ways to improve citizens’ participation and security governance in Nigeria, and we will do so by adhering to our core values.
