Phase IV: Strengthening Women’s Political Communities (2021–2022)

In the fourth phase, we worked toward emphasizing community building and leadership development.

Key Activities

• We expanded the Virtual Training School to train 100 women, followed by a 6month mentorship program for 30 participants.
• We hosted town hall meetings in FCT, Bauchi, and Kano States.
• We held consultative meetings with female leaders of five political parties.
• We delivered a 2- day capacity building workshop for 12 women leaders on advocacy, resource mobilization, and communication.
• We partnered with State Ministries of Women Affairs in three states.

Impact

 Consolidated networks of women leaders across political parties.

 Enhanced women’s visibility in governance processes at community and state levels.

 Strengthened collaboration with government institutions.
