Hamidat Adeola Oyedele is a dedicated and multifaceted Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Trainee at the Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative also known as Partners West Africa Nigeria (PWAN), bringing a unique blend of technical expertise and practical experience to her role.

Academically, Hamidat holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the prestigious Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. Her academic foundation in agriculture has equipped her with a strong understanding of the intricacies of rural development, environmental sustainability, and community engagement.

Professionally, Hamidat is a certified member of the Nigerian Institute of Animal Science, demonstrating her commitment to staying updated on best practices in animal science and agriculture. Additionally, she holds a HSE 3 Competence certificate from the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria, underscoring her expertise in workplace safety and risk management.

To further enhance her analytical capabilities, Hamidat has also obtained a diploma in Data Analysis. This skillset enables her to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data, providing actionable insights that inform programmatic decisions.

Throughout her career, Hamidat has accumulated diverse experience across multiple sectors, including Veterinary Services, Facilities Management, and the Development sector. Her most recent experience in the Development sector has equipped her with a deep understanding of the complexities of program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

Hamidat’s technical skills include Data analysis and interpretation, Workplace safety and risk management, Power BI and data visualization, Stakeholder engagement and management

With her unique blend of technical expertise, practical experience, and passion for M&E, Hamidat is poised to make a meaningful contribution to PWAN.

Theresa Awulor is an Administrative Business Assistant with The Rule of Law & Empowerment Initiative also known as Partners West Africa Nigeria.

She served as a Computer and Mathematics teacher in Chrisland school, Ondo state during her NYSC.

Theresa worked as an Administrator with Staruf Sports Development Lagos where she traveled to various states of Nigeria to promote youth sports development in football. She also worked as a Nigerian coordinator in the Milo/Dodo Mayana Football Clinic which held in various states of Nigeria with over 20,000 participants per state.

She obtained a B.Sc degree in Computer Science from the University of Benin and a certificate in Computer Networking from the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT).

Tobiloba Adekunle works as a Program Assistant at the Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative, recognized also in the likeness of Partners West Africa Nigeria.

He served a 12-month tenure in the capacity of Program Intern at PWAN, followed by a Youth service stint with the National Orientation Agency.

In addition to his prior experiences, he served as an Accountability Monitor under the auspices of the Rule of Law and Accountability (RULAAC).

He has received training in proposal composition and monitoring and appraisal. He has also completed a course on conflict resolution and promoting peace through the United States Institute of Peace.

Tobiloba holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from IAEC Lome, Togo.

Zainab Mohammed Waziri is a Program Assistant at the Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative, also known as Partners West Africa Nigeria (PWAN).

She assists the program officers and managers in designing and management of PWAN’s portfolio in Borno state( humanitarian assignments and projects) to improve integrity and strengthen institutions, manage and coordinate program activities associated with different programs areas, represent the company brand in public events such as conferences, meetings, workshops etc., assist to achieve program requirement within budgets, established time frame, standards of quality and ensure compliance with donor requirement.

She has previously worked in the humanitarian development sector with 8 years of working experience in different sectors which include Child protection, Gender-Based Violence, Mine action, data collection, water and sanitation hygiene, and livelihood within several governmental and international governmental organizations in northeast Nigeria.

She possesses excellent organizational skills, teamwork, leadership, and project management skills which have contributed to the success of several projects.

She obtained her first degree at the University of Maiduguri in 2014 where she studied BSc. Microbiology and master’s in environmental management from the same university but in View.

She obtained a certificate of training which include Gender and Diversity Inclusion -GICHD 2021. Protection in Humanitarian Action, Hostile Environmental First Aid Training (HEFAT 2021), Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Hazardous Environmental Awareness Training (HEAT)etc.

 

Olekwu Okpeje Obe is a Program Assistant with the Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative, also known as Partners West Africa Nigeria.

She interned with PWAN for 1 year as a Program Inter and 1 year as an NYSC Member with PWAN.

She also worked as a Field Researcher with the Initiative for Research, Innovation and Advocacy (IRIAD) and as a volunteer with the Nigeria Red Cross Society for the year 2021-2022.

She has received training in proposal writing, Resource Mobilization and Fundraising, Communication and Engagement Strategies and Leadership development

She has a certification in Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Accountability in emergencies (MEAL) and an international peace and Security ambassador award from Kingslanding Humanitarian Foundation.

Olekwu is a Criminology and Security Studies graduate from the University of Ilorin.

Nana-Hauwa Isa is a Programs Officer at the Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative also known as Partners West Africa Nigeria (PWAN). She obtained her Bachelor of Law degree from Bayero University Kano and subsequently pursued her BL at the Nigerian Law School in 2015.

During her national youth service, she served with the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria, where she gained valuable experience in criminal litigation and an in-depth understanding of the criminal justice system.

Before her role at PWAN, she partnered with another esteemed lawyer to establish Craft Legal Services, an all-female law firm that provides comprehensive legal services to clients.

She is a proud member of prestigious legal associations, including the Nigerian Bar Association, the International Bar Association, and the Federation of Female Lawyers (FIDA). She is a recipient of the IBA Women’s Forum Conference in Denmark in 2022.

Aisha Abubakar is a Program officer at the Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative, also known as Partners West Africa Nigeria (PWAN)

Until the assumption of her role as a Program officer with PWAN, she was the Managing Partner, at Savvy Legal Consult & Associates, a law firm she founded within 5 years out of her 9 years of post-call experience as a lawyer. She has rendered legal professional services to numerous individuals and top-tier governmental and non-governmental organizations.

A Master Degree holder in Law (LL.M, 2021) from Bayero University, Kano, B.L., Nigeria Law School, 2015, and a law degree from Bayero University, Kano, (LL. B,2014), she is also a fellow, Legislative mentorship Initiative. She has an interest in areas of International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Legislative drafting, and policy-making, and a keen interest in the development sector.

Alache Tina Inalegwu is a Program Assistant with the Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative, also known as Partners West Africa Nigeria.

She interned with PWAN for 6 months as a Program Intern and has been growing and learning on the job.

She also worked as an Admin with the Nigeria Airforce in Enugu NYSC year 2016 -2017, she has also worked as a sales representative, so she has sales and marketing experience.

Alache is a Sociologist and Anthropologist, she graduated from the University of Maiduguri Borno state, she is a caterer at Reddish Culinary School and has a diploma in Catering,

Alache also has a certificate in home economics and management from the College of Agriculture in Maiduguri, Borno state.

Hauwa Salisu Adam is a knowledge management and communication Trainee at the Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative also known as Partners West Africa Nigeria (PWAN). She assists the company’s operations in some areas.

From 2022 to 2023, Hauwa served as a dedicated English language teacher in the Family Support Programme school in Katsina state during her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). This experience allowed her to develop strong teaching skills and a deep understanding of the importance of education.

Hauwa holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication from Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria State, Nigeria. Her academic background has equipped her with a solid foundation in various aspects of communication, including journalism, advertising, and public relations.

Throughout her career, Hauwa has demonstrated a strong commitment to volunteer work. She has actively participated in various organizations, where she has gained valuable experience and knowledge in teamwork and the value of shared goals. Hauwa firmly believes in the power of collaboration and the impact it can have on achieving collective success.

Hauwa’s eagerness to learn and grow is one of her defining characteristics. She is always open to new challenges and opportunities, and she is eager to contribute to the growth of the team and the organization. Hauwa’s positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges make her a valuable asset to any team.

Ogechukwu Holly Mohanye is a Knowledge Management and Communications Officer with The Rule of Law & Empowerment Initiative also known as Partners West Africa Nigeria (PWAN).

In her current role, she is responsible for overseeing the organization’s documentation and communication systems where she manages knowledge resources, creates and maintains databases, and ensures effective communication both internally and externally. She also works to thrive in the development and implementation of information and content management strategies ensuring that PWAN’s knowledge and learning assets are archived and searchable.

With 4 years of experience in the humanitarian field and community engagement, her passion for serving and advocating for the most vulnerable has taken her through rural communities in Nigeria by amplifying the voice of the voiceless through compelling storytelling and infographics.

In 2018, she served as an Administrative Assistant at the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Abuja, during her NYSC. She has volunteered in various CSOs and government agencies and can demonstrate teamwork and interpersonal skills, and verbal and written communication skills.

She has received various training in Podcasting, Broadcasting, Graphic designing, Proposal writing and Leadership Development. She has experience as a Secretary, Administrative Assistant, Strategic Communications, and Program manager.

She obtained a B.Sc. degree in Sociology from Covenant University Ota, Ogun State, and has a Diploma in Leadership Development (DLD). She has several certifications in Communications for development, Knowledge management, sexual exploitation, and many others.
