A WORKSHOP: ENHANCING THE USE OF ICT IN COUNTER-TERRORISM POLICY AND PRACTICE
Partners West Africa Nigeria #PWAN recently concluded a workshop on enhancing the use of ICT, under the Partnership against Violent Extremism (PAVE) program, in collaboration with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) and supported by the Security Justice Reform Program (SJRP). The workshop was able to showcase to participants current innovative uses of ICT by the Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit – PCRRU, Nigeria Police Force, The Smart police app developed by Lagos State Police Command, FEDERAL ROAD SAFETY CORPS ( FRSC), NIGERIA and Nigeria Immigration Service.
There were informative presentations on Tools for coordination & Comparative experiences on ICT delivered by Dr. Chris Kwaja and Dr. Joel Ebute.
